How do I change object_name attribute display???

I am on WebTop 6.7 SP1. I want to change object_name attribute display to appear different from out-of-the-box 'Name'. I need new object_name display name to appear in 'Imporrt', 'Check-in' 'Search result page column header', and 'search result column header selector page'.

I have created a new composer proejct for my new custom type and have object_name attribute display change there. But updated object_name display appearing only in Advance Search and Import screen, but not in Search result and search result column header screens.

Any help is appreciated.

You updated the Data Dictionary for a specific object type.

The result shows when you import as the object type or select the object type in Adavanced Search window.

When it comes to Search result and header, think you should customize the list component.

The difference is that some components work with just one type of documents and others, like the search results, work with several. So the search results use a generic label, for the object name, and not the display the configured display name of that particular attribute. May be counter intuitive when you are searching and displaying just one type of documents but the component is generic and ignores that fact entirely.

If you simply want to change that label you may want to look to the file in

\webcomponent\strings\com\documentum\webcomponent\library\search\Search60NlsProp.properties

This file defines the UI labels used by the Advanced Search component. The object name is in the included GenericObjectNlsProp but note that if you change that file you will be modifying almost all the places where "Name" is presented.

Obviously this only works if you only search for a specific type of documents. In any other case you would need to extend some component, like the advanced search component, to dynamically set the column labels if the search results contain only one type of documents.
