According to release notes 6.7SP1P19 does officially support 1.7u25:
If you want official support of 1.7u40 you should wait some time - EMC provided me a document named "Browser JRE Support Policy" that states following:
Oracle JRE versions:

Caveat:
Note that corresponding CS releases (i.e. 6.7SP1P19 and 6.7SP1P20) are unstable and not production ready.
There is an issue that was introduced with JRE 1.7u21: From the Java Release notes, 1.7 Update 21 contains the following change: Changes to Security DialogsAs of JDK 7u21, JavaScript code that calls code within a privileged applet is treated as mixed code and warning dialogs are raised if the signed JAR files are not tagged with the Trusted-Library attribute. This caused a pop-up every time the users went into Webtop on a PC with JRE 1.7. This was identified as a Defect WEBTOP-27321. We got a hot fix for 6.7SP1 P10 Webtop. We never rolled out JRE 1.7, because of other issues with the JRE. I don't know if this was included in a later patch. I would strongly suggest doing lots of testing before rolling out JRE 1.7.
