Where can i find the tutorials/manuals for webtop customizations for a beginner?

You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right. Then search for: "Documentum" and select the first result that appears. This will relocate it to the Developer Network space of the Documentum community.

You should look for "WDK development guide" pdf, that can help you start...
I'm not a big Webtop/WDK developer, but I have chronicled a few customizations I have made on my blog, http://msroth.wordpress.com. Search on WDK or webtop. Those might help get you started.

Are you building a new application or modifying an existing Webtop implementation? I recommend looking at or for new development. Although , D2 and xCP are newer platforms with the latest innovations in usability and developer productivity.
