D2 DM_METHOD_E_NO_JMS_AVAILABLE2

Hi,

We have D2 4.1.

On our test environment the method server is sometimes restarted.

When we are working in D2 client at the same time, the following error occurs in D2 client DM_METHOD_E_NO_JMS_AVAILABLE2

When we restart the method server, the D2 Client is not aware of that.

When is D2 verifying the connection with the method server? How can we force this check?

what happens if you log off D2 and back in (and maybe also close the browser). will it find out that the connection is restored ?

I have the same problem but a little bit different, so maybe some one can help, I have already installed D2 4.2 premium and I am able to login to D2-Config but some function is displaying that the no java method server available to serve your request , and my problem right now is that I cannot use the D2 import configuration option as it display the mentioned message above, I hope that maybe this can clear out the problem to whom it may concern to solve this problem.

I have figured out that to solve the mentioned problem is to start the JAVA method server from its CMD file on J-BOSS instead of windows service, as the windows service appeared to be started but the JMS is not really started, this issue begins to occur after I installed the D2 4.2 premium on the same machine containing the JMS, maybe it Is something related to the changes done to class paths or failure in loading some java classes, I don't know.
