create folder as author fails DELETED

I have code which creates a new folder. And a the end of this is performs a submit direct oin the folder, so that it never shows up in the Modified Content portlet.

It works fine for editor/admin/master. However, when i log in as an Author, I get a com.interwoven.cssdk.access.CSAuthorizationException.

Does it sound like I am going to have to use a callout to iwsubmit to bypass this problem?

What version of TeamSite and what platform are you running this on. I will see if I can reproduce it locally.

I believe you are running into a restriction of authors. Authors are not allowed to submit -- they can initiate a workflow that results in a submit, but the submittask is run as a non-author.
