DQL faster than sysobject in DFC

Hi All,

I heard and noticed that DQL is faster than sysobject creation in DFC coding..

So, should we use DQL for most or all our operations...

Collection closing and other we can handle ... but is it a good practice to use DQL for every operation...

There is no visible difference between DQL and DFC for non-TBO objects, for TBO-objects DQL should be slower.

Thanks PanfilovAB... thats fine.

My requirment is to get certain attributes of objects. So, I have 2 options to go for it:

1. Create sysobject for each object in a loop and do sysobject.getString(attribute_name)

2. Fire DQL for all objects at a time with some conditions.

Which one is going to be faster?

I think the 2nd one as we are getting everything in just 1 single query.

Please share your thoughts on this

We can get attributes using sysobject.getString(attribute_name). but for that we need to create sysobject everytime.

But with DQL , we just need to fire query and parse the results using collection.
