Triggering Method On Selecting Custom Menu Item in D2-Client

Hi All,

          I want to know how to trigger a method on selecting a custom Menu Item in D2-Client. I mean if I select an object in Doclist widget and select a menu Item in the menu bar, a method should execute which get the r_object_id of that document and do some manipulation. Kindly provide me the steps to do it and syntax for creating method.

Hello -

There is a Standard JS "LaunchMethod()" which should be able to help you launch your custom method

In the Action for the menu use: launchmethod(sMethodName, bRefresh, sParameters, bLaunchAsync)

Note: I know it works in D2 3.x... not sure about D2 4.1
