We are running out of space on SAN, So we need to develop some archive policy for Old Content and on monthly basis.
Can anybody suggest this how to achieve the same?
You should consider Documentum Content Storage Services<http://www.emc.com/collateral/software/data-sheet/h3083-css-ds.pdf>. It’s an add-on to Documentum that specifically addresses that need.
Content Storage Services is included with the Documentum Platform Extensions product. Please talk to your EMC sales person to get more information.
Create a new filestore on cheaper storage.
Write an job and method to move content from default store to archive store.

You mean I create a Archive store on Tape or disk and then Migrate_Content to This new Store and I can keep this Storage area offline mode or de attahed mode right?
