What are the minimum set of software's required to be installed in content server side to make xCP user,designer and D2 working.
Try to read the Environment and System requirement guide for you Content Server version.

I’ve installed both XCP2 & D2 4.1 in the same content Server but in 2 different Repositories.
To make XCP2 work you need a set of mandatory product:
XPLORE : mandatory
BAM-SERVER : mandatory
XMS-Server
I guess the rest of the following product is needed depending on you development
BPS : process Intergator ==> for process runtime
DA : Documentum Administrator
CTS : if you are using content viewer
CIS : if you are using discovered metadata( mostly installed aspects can block the install)
For CTS & CIS you may consider having a global registry for aspects and service modules so they can be used for both repositories D2 & XPC2

In fact, it depends on which feature you want to enable.
For example, if you do not need full text search, xPlore is not mandatory.
The minimum set is : Content Server, Database, App Server (Tomcat, Jboss, ...). Tha's all !

For now full text is not required. My objective is to create few applications in xCP designer and D2 to learn them.

Process Engine and Integrator is required to develop app in xCP designer apart from content server, database and app server ?.
