how to Update autonaming counter of D2 directly through database SQL

Hi Experts,

I have a problem that my documents exported from captiva capturing system should has reference number that contains serial number as well as documents imported from D2 that has its reference through D2 autonaming which contains a counter . what I need is to get next value of that counter and update the serial number with it through captiva client side scripting, for the reference number to have synchronous value either for documents exported from captiva and documents imorted through D2.

Hello ,

You might consider to let D2 manage this counter. Inject your captiva documents into the repository then apply D2 configuration on them.

One (asynchronous) solution using DFC is to add the newly created object to the d2c_mass_create_queue :

IDfPersistentObject obj = session.newObject("d2c_mass_create_queue);
obj.setId("doc_id", YOUR_OBJ_ID);
obj.save();

Don't forget to activate D2JobCoreDeQueue then, in order to process your objects.
