Also i your DocumentHome/Shared folders, you will find dfc.jar.
1st, documentum Jars... That's quite vaste which ones, to do what ?
Assuming you're talking about the DFC, you could deploy the DFC (Downloadable from the Download Center) or yo ucould get them from any DFC deployment you migth already have *=(Content Server, Webtop/DA, etc....)
yes i'm talking about dfc, I have web top how to get it from webtop.
What do tyou want to do ? compile/run your app locally or distribute the Jars with your app.
In the second case, I'd recommend yo ucheck with your EMC contact to see if you;re allowed to do so....
In the 1st case, you just need to reference dfc.jar (in ..../webtop/WEB-INF/lib and the Webtop class folder (for the properties files in your java project
I want to show scanned images in my another java application so i'm creating a snippet to create absolute path of the scanned images. what i have now is just object_id corresponding to the document.
You probably need in that case "Documentum Foundation Classes (DFC)" for the target platform. They can be found in the download section.
Panos
I do not have a download account.
Ask from your client or however has the Documentum license that you are developing for.
I have a ACCELSERVER how can i get to the dfc jar
If you have a proper, legal, EMC software, you or your company should have a download account. Otherwise, you're on your own....
Copy all the jars out of webtop lib folder.
Copy the dfc and log4j files from webtop classes folder.
If you are developing a custom application that embeds Documentum libraries, you will need to purchase custom client licenses.
I have got it from my development environment. Thank u Sir.
From where you have downloaded development environment. I have tried a lot to download it, could you please share the URL to download.
