Firefox 1.5 & teamsite?

RonaldV

Hi,

do any of you use firefox 1.5 in combi with teamsite?

It used to work fine with ff 1.07 and below but with ff 1.5 the tabs (on top of the tab-pages) are tiny and do not show the label.

Any shared experiences here?

(BTW I know ff is not officially supported :-)

I see that too.

I checked the source for the tabs (Workflow, Content, ...) and Fx says the table element is constructed as

<td style="width: 1px;" id="tabset_t0_tab_1_mid" class="iw-base-tab-up-mid" nowrap="nowrap">

I guess Fx 1.5 takes the width: 1px literally. Dunno whether the other browsers get other HTML served to them (by browser recognition on server or client scripting), or just decide to ignore the 1px width.

greets, Fred.

did anybody find a solution for this?

Hi,
documetation to Patch ID 1635 (for TS6.5 SP2) says:

* Bug ID 64037

Minor layout fix so that Firefox 1.5 will correctly render the tabs in
ContentCenter Professional.
Platform(s): Generic

Do you have the option to install SP2 and this patch to try if it solves your problem?

Patch ID 1635 dit the job!

Thanks!

PS:
I had a small problem installing the patch:
Somehow the file

\local\config\lib\content_center\toolkits.xml got deleted and therefore the webapp couldn't be compiled after the update. Perhaps it's a good idea to back up this file before installing the patch...

Hi,
thanks for that hint!
I'm shortly before installing Patch 1635 :-)

I wanted to point out that Firefox 1.5 is not yet officially supported on TS 6.5 SP2. We have added support for Firefox 1.06 in TS 6.7.0, but FireFox 1.5 is not yet supported.

thanks
