I have installed dqman but keep getting the same error when trying to open it. I have already added dmcl.dll and dfc.dll to the same dir with dqman.exe.

Are you trying to connect to a 7.0 or 7.1 repository ?

do you have several DFC install on your workstation?
if so you may consider empty you env classpath variable and removing the dmcl.dll files for your %WINDIR% %SYSTEM%
using dmcl.dll imply that you want to connect to repositories using legacy mode.
to connect using dfc you should have dfc installed on your env and visible in your classpath( i guess that copying dfc.properties & dfc.dll in the root folder of dqman wont help)
you can also try to copy your dqman folder for system drive to another drive and use a batch script to set the classpath to your dfc installation folder ( shared & config ) and run after the dqman.exe

Interesting. Now that you mention it, Do you think there are issues in being able to connect to 7.0 DocBases using DqMan?
Because, I do see issues in connecting to 7.0. But, connecting to 7.1 just works fine.
Any lead on that would be really great.
