Find repository name e repository ID from database

Hi  all,

we need to clone a documentum environment, but unfortunately we don't have server.ini

We have file store and database, so the question is:

There is any way to find this information directly from the database (Oracle) ?

• repository name
• repository id

Any suggestion ?

Hi,

In order to retrieve the Repository Id:

1. need to get an r_object_id from the dm_document_s table

2. From the left part ignore the first two literals i.e. "09" and the next six literals are your repository Id for e.g. "001abd"

For Repository Name:

Please check with your DBAs,if they can resolve the dm.dbo alias, OR for most of the scenarios, the Schema Name are synched with Repository name. So, hopefully, it might be the case at your end too.

For e.g. Repo Name: testdocbase ; Schema name: test_docbase
