How to Archive huge content

We are in process of archiving our 3TB data, Initially We need to move 1 TB data to new archival server. How we can achieve?.

We tried with dump & load but it takes couple of months to complete 1TB. As both are 2 different repository we are unable to synch the content and DB. Is there any work around this, Please suggest

Create a new filestore and use the filestore move admin method to move the content.
