We are facing a similar issue as listed in the Forum. Assets are not visible anymore in a folder via the Web Client using IE by logging in with Admin rights. Removing all metadata via the configuration functionality in the browser the assets get visible again. The recommendation given in the other thread does not work, because adding any metadata makes the assets invisible again. In the native client they are visible. It is also no possible to download and / or check out the assets. Error message for a jpeg file: Exception in Primitive {1AAEB080}! Reason = Paramater needed but unusable, Message = Couldn't open input file. Error Job {****} Setting parameters in primitive JPEG Decoder. RC = The operation failed. Check the log output for details.
The error reported for pdf or doc is similar. This problem occurs in our development environment, a virtual server running on Windows 2000 Server, using Oracle DB.
Adding new assets works fine. The problemn occured over the weekend, so it affects all assets being in there before the weekend.
