A client wants to re-permission their branch. Submit filtering is in place, and so content is no problem. As far as new rights on directories, this seems to work. Any comments, better ways to go, gotchas, recommendations?


Create new folder like old folder, for example, “images2” for “images”
Select original folder, go to Edit/Select all and File/Move to new folder.
Select original folder and File/Rename to “imagesOLD”
Rename new folder to original name, “images”
Submit “images” folder.
Test and then delete old folder.

I would change permissions via command line, without re-creating new directories
