RAW files in MediaBin
Phead2
I was wondering if there was anyway to have MediaBin decode raw images from various cameras (like .NEF, .CR2, .MOS, etc.) for insertion and conversion. While it seems like some of these formats can be inserted the results aren't always correct (colorspace wrong, etc.).

Currently, no. Those are not supported file formats.

No, sorry. Generally RAW files are characterized by needing the colorspace and dimensions to be separately provided. Currently in most cases format decoders are invoked automatically by MediaBin on ingest and there is no clean way to get this meta information to the product.
This limitation is not unqie to MediaBin. If you export a raw file from Photoshop, in many cases on attempting to ingest it again into Photoshop it will make incorrect guesses.
