Specify permission in D2

In DA, Webtop,

When we create folder, we can specify the permission during creation, but in D2, could we still achieve this?

Also to change the permission, i could only select those predefined security in D2-Config, can we specify individual user/group access right during creation?

Hi,

A D2 security configuration can be made dynamic based on property values on a property screen.

Make sure you have for example a reviewers and a approvers property on your custom object type where you can select you corresponding group names on a property screen.

In the D2 security configuration you configure that the reviewers property should have WRITE permission and the approvers property should have READ permission.

So in your document creation screen you select the correct values for your security.

To change the permissions later on, you just modify the property values in the property screen and after saving it the correct security is applied again based on you matrix selections.
