Tomcat logging How to increase?

Hello everyone,

I am currently using Tomcat 7.0.33 as my local server and Webtop. I am running into an error and it goes into an almost loop so that the error is repeating over and over. When I look scroll up in the tomcat log it doesn's show what happens before the error. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to increase the memory of the logs so I can see what occurs/ printed before the error occurs.

Below I have attached a picture of the tomcat log I am discussing.

I have also looked in my documentum log file but the discription is not specific enough to help me solve the problem.

You can examine the file log4j.properties deployed in /<WEBTOP context>/WEB-INF/classes/log4j.properties

Below I show you a example:

log4j.appender.stdout=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender

log4j.appender.stdout.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout

log4j.appender.file.File=C\:/logsDctm/webtop.log

log4j.appender.file.MaxFileSize=10MB

log4j.appender.file.MaxBackupIndex=10

log4j.appender.file.Append=false

log4j.appender.file=org.apache.log4j.RollingFileAppender

log4j.appender.file.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout

log4j.appender.file.layout.ConversionPattern=%d{ABSOLUTE} %5p [%t] %c - %m%n

When I deploy webtop a file is created in the path : C\:/logsDctm/webtop.log, and you can see all the errors.

Look where you are save this log in your log4j.
