Hyperlink as object

Does interwoven support creating a hyperlink as an object just like an html of gif file? One of the requirements we have is creating hyperlinks (by anyone) to be used as resources by other editors or authors.

I don't follow what you are really asking for here. A hyperlink is nothing more than an anchor tag with a URL in it. The URL must point to something. That something can be almost anything.
Maybe you can elaborate on what you are trying to do.

Ok. In our current content editor which is designed in-house, we can drag and drop a hyperlink from a list of hyperlinks. These links are created by editors. Authors just drag and drop them on html pages. They dont care what the content of the hyperlink or where it points to. They dont even see the complete url of the hyperlink, all they see is the title (tag). So I need to know if in Interwoven you can create a list of hyperlinks and allow authors to add them on pages they are working on without having to type the complete url which can be long and complex. Am I making sense?

Editors can use the FormPublisher interface (DCT) to create all the custom links that are required for Authors these links are stored in the DCR. Authors can add these links using a CallServer in the DCT forum to create the content of the html. You can write a tpl to generate the final target html file that contains this link. I am not if this is what you are looking for or you can port your custom application that uses CSSDK services that are exposed for TeamSite.
