An unexpected error occurred: Permission denied

I have been created as an administrator. I can log in and see the New Branch link however when I try to create a new branch, I get the error message as :

" An unexpected error occurred: Permission denied "

The log files do not display anything.

Please help.!!

If you are an admin then you may not have admin rights on the branch where you are creating a new one.

Get master access and try it.

What version/OS are you using TeamSite on. Which log files did you check?
