Perform task after document checkout

Dear Experts,

I have a requirement in which I need to perform a particular task after a document is checked out by the webtop user. Could someone tell me how can this be accomplished? Also FYI, the task is performed in the checkout document.

You can perform such operation in TBO.

You can over-ride doCheckout method.

For more details, you can refer to DFC developement guide.

Thanks for your reply Sameer. I have not used TBO before. I will refer the DFC guide and try it out. Could you please tell me if we can restrict it to docbase level?

TBO works at docbase level only.
