Two webtops under webapps in applications server

I have two webtops under webapps folder in applications server. One is customized and other one is out of box. customized one is working fine from localhost but the one which is out of box is throwing a 404 error while opening. This works intermittently.

I have tried restarting the server and the services but it does not seem to work.

Please suggest what to do.

assuming the context of those 2 webtops are different, what is the error log in the tomcat says? check out stdout and stderr as well..

both webtops started working and configuration loaded also came on out of box one but now both of them are showing "page cannot be displayed". could it be a case where tomcat is not able to handle two webtops and it is breaking intermittently?

Do you need to configure a second service in Tomcat's server.xml (in the config directory)?

no, I have two webtops under a tomcat but they dont seem to respond properly.

It seems that the component xml file of menubar component that you are trying to customize has some problem.I guess, if you remove the custom component from webtop1 then, it may work correctly . Can you please share the custom component xml file ?
