Crystal Reports & Oracle

Has anyone tried to run the Crystal Reports againts an Oracle 8i database? I'm using:
Crystal Reports 11
Oracle NET Client 9.0
Oracle Database 8.1.7
After sucessfully configured and test an ODBC connection using the Ora9.0 driver, I got the following error:
TNS-12560: TNS Smiley Tongue

rotocol adapter error
SQLPlus can connect without any problem using the same TNS Service name.

Anyone have any suggestion?

The Crystal Reports are the ones from TechLib:

The "Workspace Usage Summary" doesn't seem to work correctly either. All output columns are blank.

I don't sue Oracle but it these reports with my WorksiteMP/SQL 2000.

Some things I have noticed while using these is that you have to spell the Username, Workspace name, etc.. exactly or else they return nothing and don't error; that you have to connect to your server with a DSN and initiate that connection in RAS or at least the report itself to execute the query. I only point this out in case you have multiple libraries servers (maybe you are querying the wrong one if the spelling is correct).
