Workflow
System
Hi
A few weeks ago, someone re-named a branch from 'THIN' to 'thinonline' and as a result when I want to create a new form entry I get the following error?
"Unable to create a new form of type thin/content under the branch //suniwov1/default/main/thinonline. This form was not configured for this branch. "
Obviously there is a problem with the workflow and the naming of the branches. However, what would be the best way to trouble shoot this problem. Thanks. I'm new to teamsite workflow, so any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
Claire

It's probably got nothing to do with workflow - instead it has to do with the IWHOME/local/config/templating.cfg file - RTFM FormsPublisher Developer's Guide for more details.

Is a workflow can run two different branches?
The attached file is point to the static path of workarea,
Can edit the path of the files to another path of workarea?

First - you didn't attach anything.
Second - it sounds like you need to get some training in TeamSite Workflow development (click on the Education link at the top of the page for more information) - or hire someone with such training and/or experience.
Third - you need to be more clear / precise about what you are asking.
- A given workflow template can be instantiated in different workareas and/or different branches.
- Generally speaking, workflows *usually* only operate in a single branch / workarea because any given *task* can *only* reference files in a *single* branch / workarea - however, workflows have been developed that deal with multiple branches and workareas - it just takes more effort in the design phase to make sure you don't violate some intrinsic rule of wft development while trying to get it to work.
