Using xCP to load pages outside of the app

Is it possible within xCP to call/load a web page that is located outside of the xCP app? If so, how would one go about doing that? I've tried invoking a "Go To Page" action from a button, passing the page URL as a session parameter, but that generates a "page not found" error.

I would like to provide users with a button to open another application log in page in a separate browser tab/window.
