GetDocumentTypeFromPath

Hi,

I'm having problems using the iManDatabase method GetDocumentTypeFromPath, heres VB snippet:

Dim lDocType As IManDocumentType

Set lDocType = vDatabase.GetDocumentTypeFromPath("c:\29_1.doc")

where vDatabase is a vaild iManDatabase object and c:\29_1.doc file exists

the method produces an error stating "No Record Found". I've checked the types within the database and there is one for Word (.doc). Am i using the method correctly or gone off at a complete tangent!?

You probably need to check whether you have the correct automatic type detection mapping setup in your primary database. The later releases of WorkSite i(8.0 SP1) included some new INSO type mappings to handle Office 2003 formats among others.
