Using CIFS NAS as file store which do not support extend securityattributes

Does anyone know how to use a CIFS NAS that do not support extend security attributes as repository's file store? I have a NAS using CIFS protocol but do not support extend security attributes. I can use this NAS on Windows 2008 but can't in Content Server.

When I creating the file store in DA it said failed to create the lock file. I can see a lock file was created on NAS but only have zero size. It seems that Content Server can create file on NAS but can't set permission on it. Does anyone know to solve this problem? Should I write a plug-in for this type of NAS?

This section contains information about storage requirements.

Network attached storage (NAS) and storage area network (SAN) storage device configuration requirements on Windows platforms

To use a NAS or SAN storage device as a storage area in a repository on the Windows platform, the following configuration requirements must be met:

• The Content Server host and the host to which the NAS or SAN device is attached must be in the same domain.

• The Content Server installation owner must be a domain user in that domain and must be a local administrator.

• The network location of the storage area must be identified in UNC format in the file_system_path property of the location object.

• The Content Server installation owner and the repository owner must have Full Control permission for the storage location.
