xCP 2.1 BAM database

Hi All,

We have 2 repositories (X and Y) and 1 BAM server.

We need to generate reports for both the repositories. Please advise do we need to have 2 BAM server instances ?

You need to have one BAM server instance per repository.

Thanks Sameer, We will try to configure separate BAM server instance for another repository and confirm here again. EMC has mentioned somewhere the same?

In the bam.properties, you are supposed to specify repository connection details. You can specify only one repository in the file. So you have to deploy another instance of bam_server.war in order to cater to second repository. In xCp1.5 this was documented explicitly.
