how start learning D2

Hi ,

I am very eager to learn new Documentum D2 , Can someone please help with where to start and which version to start with.

Also , please provide all the required documents to start with D2 development.

I want to learn from basics. I have fair knowledge of Documentum platform and worked on webtop till now.

Its very urgent. Need immediate information.

There are several online courses in the education catalog. Those are your best bet for learning the product quickly:

Just look for D2 on the page. If you don't want to wait for a live course, register for one of the VILT offerings.

What is VILT training?

VILT stands for Video Instructor-Led Training. This training format provides self-paced learning in an interactive and enhanced format. Lecture modules are displayed as a video presentation by a skilled EMC Documentum instructor, who provides insights and details beyond the material noted in the presentation slides. Depending on the course, lab exercises are available as hands-on simulations or as recorded demonstrations. Also included with the course is a book, and access to online supplemental materials and resources. Some VILT courses also provide access to a live sandbox lab environment where you can practice the exercises in your training book and also explore the features of the software applications in more detail as you desire.

These resources are helpful but I need some in detailed Documentation related to D2 4.x , Can you please help me with this. For overview it was good . But I need to learn in depth as I require to install it on my development servers and then implement the concepts of D2 on the same.

we are using Documentum 6.7 and Content Server 6.7.

Styagi - I saw you had a few other similar posts for different documentum products. Is the issue that you're not a Documentum customer or partner and can't access our product?

Again, I'd recommend looking at the courseware available from EMC Education Services.
