Duplicate folders/documents in doclist widget in D2

Hi,

We are noticing an unusual behavior in D2 client doclist widget. Folders or documents with same name appear more than once in the doclist while there is no such objects present in docbase repository. Also, there is a pattern with this. The number of folders/documents with same name increase with level of folder.

This happens only for specific user and not for all the users.

While debugging we also found a group to be responsible for this in one case, as we removed the  user membership from this group, the duplicate or multiple folders disappeared.

How are the documents/folders stacked in the Doclist. How are they dependent upon the groups, the logged in user is present in?

could it be that these users added columns containing repeating attributes ?

If ****'s the case, then you most likely didn't set the return_top_results_row_basedto false in your server.ini as mentioned in the installation guide.
