Documentum RESTful web services can be consumed by SAP Portal

Hello All,

Can SAP Portal consume theDocumentum RESTful webservices to perform various operation like.

a. Create document objects from SAP portal - uplaod functionality.

b. set the metadata to document.

c. read / restrive / view the documents based on query passed to classify the data.

Did you consider Content Services for SAP product from EMC for integration?

for your questions, yes it is possible to consume the RESTful services for all the items you mentioned

As far as my understnading is - CSSAP from SAP ECC Modules and not from the Portal.

Also, CSSAP is to reflect the changes from Documentum to SAP.

I am not sure about the CSSAP and you might be right. But for your question, yes DCTM RESTful services supports all the items you mentioned.
