Well, "FINISH" implies TS 6 - but which version of TS 6? on what platform? using what UI?

I'd think that clicking finish on the DCT form which initiates a tt_data workflow would *automatically* attache the DCR to the workflow --- unless you didn't design the wft to accept pre-selected files.

The DCR file will be automatically attach to the workflow when u initiate the workflow.

Am I missing something?

depends on how and in which context you are doing it

but because TeamSite has very inconsistent DCR attachment behaviour, I'd advise to implement a few standard exteranl tasks - to attach and detach DCRs from workflow.
Detachment could be required when DCRs are attached and there iwmetadata.cgi as a CGI task.

Hi,

TS 6.5 on sun solaris.

In Standard Interface.

How i can test in an existing WFT wheather there is a provision to accept pre-selected files, if it is not there How can I change the wft to accept pre-selected files

And,

Wheather i need to specify tt_data in command list or it will be default on click of FINISH.

Thanks for reply.

Hi Ghoti,

What you said is correct, but in my situation on CLICK of FINISH Iam calling a JSP and in that JSP i have this code :

<frameset rows="*" cols="*" framespacing="0" frameborder="NO" border="0">
<frame src="/iw-cc/command/iw.ccstd.submit?iw_template_file=/data/software/iw/iw-home/local/config/wft/bt-btw-p-solutions/configurable_author_submit.wft&iw_template_name=Author Submit Workflow&vpath=//ecoapp24-lgs/default/main/bt/btw/portal/92_tsdev2/WORKAREA/content/templatedata/content/binary/data" name="topFrame" scrolling="NO" noresize/>
</frameset>

Now, My question is how can i pass vpath attribute programatically.

Sanjeev.

Looking at the documentation in the UICG - the path to the workflow template should be relative to IWHOME/local/config/wft - so your command would be movied to look like so:

<frame src="/iw-cc/command/iw.ccstd.submit?iw_template_file=bt-btw-p-solutions/configurable_author_submit.wft&iw_template_name=Author Submit Workflow&vpath=//ecoapp24-lgs/default/main/bt/btw/portal/92_tsdev2/WORKAREA/content/templatedata/content/binary/data" name="topFrame" scrolling="NO" noresize/>

However, I find it odd that you wouldn't specify an areavapth and then all the file vpaths would be relative to there -- in your case you appear to be trying to submit the contents of the entire data/ directory - which may or may not filter out non-modified files.

Also - I'm assuming that your configurable_author_submit.wft is essentially a modified copy of the wft with the same name that comes with TeamSite, so it should already be configured to accept pre-selected files - unless you removed that code in your customizations.

Beyond that, I'm not sure what this command is doing.

Hi Ghoti,

Thanks For Reply.

Actually currently what i am doing is hard coding the DCR name like Below :

vpath=//ecoapp24-lgs/default/main/bt/btw/portal/92_tsdev2/WORKAREA/content/templatedata/content/binary/data/tutor

Yes the WF is configured for preselected files.

But, iam calling the JSP on click of FINISH in that jsp iam calling WFT file in this case preselection is not working.

Hence i have to take the newely created DCR name programatically in other way complete VPATH and this VPATH to my JSP.

My question is How can i get this VPATH i mean DCR name and pass to my JSP.

I can Get above using IWDatacapture.getDCRPath() .

But, one more thing iam loading DCT through another JSP, where can i write above API and How can i pass this to next JSP i mean, the JSP which is calling WF.

ALL this iam doing in CCSTD.
