Is it mandatory to deploy CTS WebService in order to use xCp viewer?

Yes... Because after uploads any type of documents in to repository, cts will coverts in to its own format which is compatible to display in the viewer
Let me rephrase the question. Do you need to install CTSWebservice as opposite to install just CTS Server for viewer? Please notice that xCp application server and CTS Server are on different machines.
