D2 Lifecycle Initialize for multiple selection

Hi,

I'm trying to find a way to initialize a D2 Lifecycle to a list of documents from doclist.

Unfortunately, The Lifecycle menu is available only when selection is single.

If I remove the condition "The selection is single" for the menu item, the lifecycle is only applied to the first selected item.

I've tried Lifecycle Batches but don't understand how it works.

Is there any way to do it without any development ?

there is one job named as D2JobLifecycleBatch , you need to make it as Active & schedule it asper your requirement.

Then you need to do configuration in D2-Config for Lifecycle Batch as below

1) create LifecycleBatch in D2-Config as below

Go to Lifecycle Batch---> New--->give name ,which lifecycle you want to apply on multiple documents, what should be a target state, and transition type

2) Create a context with document type & condition to select the document list for ex all the document with owner='xyz'

then put a condition as owner_name='XYZ'

3) Place a tick mark on intersection of Lifecycle batch and context

4) apply lifecycle for documents also (means tickmark on intersection of lifecycle & document's context)

5) Run a job
