D2 Export/Download multiple documents

Hi everybody,

I want to create a D2 plugin that allows to export multiple documents on local machine (Select multiple docs -> Right click -> Export).

I saw some codes on internet, but it exports documents to D2 server, not on the machine where I made the export...

Can you give me details how we make this feature ? I am new to Documentum/D2, so if you give me some code examples...

Environment: D2 4.5, Dctm 7.2

Hari,

Does it have to be right click functionality? This functionality exists today by selecting all the files, selecting "Content" from the navigation bar and selecting export.

Thanks, I didn't see there is this functionality under "Content".

However, it's not exactely the behavior that I would like to have because it asks me to save file one by one.

My customer need is like "Export folder" behavior that means: Select multiple files -> click Export -> Open dialog box to choose destination folder -> OK.

If you have any ideas to do this...

Sorry for the late reply. Saving to a specific location is a simple browser preference change.
