Creating Microsoft Word or Excel Document Containing Metadata from more than one Documentum Object i

Hi,

We need to create cover page document containing metadata in tabular format of more than one document , how could we achieve this in D2.

I think O2 feature is insufficient in this case.

The tabular metadata structure will look something like this

Header 1	Header 2	Header 3	Header 4	Header 5
Documentum Object 1	metadata for Document 1	metadata for Document 1	metadata for Document 1	metadata for Document 1
Documentum Object 2	metadata for Document 2	metadata for Document 2	metadata for Document 2	metadata for Document 2

The isuse here is that O2, or anything else for that matter, can;t read your mind and wouldn;t know which documents, and which properties, to use.

I guesws you could do that by creating your own plugin (if you need it dones 'real time' or a D2 server method that you'd launch automatically as part of the lifecycle of the document, or something like that....
