How to identify in a TPL whether a Preview button

Hi,

I want to know how do we identify in a TPL whether a preveiw button was clicked. I want to prevent some code(workflow) to be executed if the Preview button was clicked. Work flow should be kicked only when Generate button was clicked.
i am using

#Create WF
my $wf = `E:/iw-home/bin/iwjobc $wftFileName`;

example :
if (Preview){

//dont do this


}
or
if (Generate){
//do this

}
