Changing $DOCUMENTUM of a repository

Hello,

I want to change the Documetum ($DOCUMETUM) path of my repository. Could you please help with the steps.

Steps I can think of are

1. Stop the Docbase.

2. Edit the file_system_path values of dm_location objects from the DB to new value

3. Move the exsiting $DOCUMENTUM to new path

4. Change the $DOCUMENTUM environment variable and edit the dm_set_server_env.sh with relevant values.

Are there any other steps?

Documentum version : 6.7.1080.0157

OS Version : RHEL5

I would say you'll need to update at least:

- config/dfc.properties

- dba/config/****/server.ini

- dba/****.sh (docbroker/repository startup/stop scripts)

- jms startup scripts (and dfc.properties included in the deployments)

You should at least run a grep to find any file containing the old path before doind anything...

I'll do a complete search and replace. But is there anything more that needs to be done at the DB?

I think updating the dm_locations/mount_points is the only modifications you have to do in the DB
