Visual Format Problem

Hi,

My customer is having problems between TeamSite notably the visual format editor and a solution called UNI-form provided by a company called Cap's solutions. This is a local government planning application, see link below.

For the moment they have asked all users of the system to use Citrix when accessing this and TeamSite from their PC's. My question is has anyone experienced similar problems with any other software packages and can provide some guidance or advice with this problem.

My initial thoughts are around Microsoft Word settings, or active X settings, rather than something to do with javascript or Internet Explorer.

Unless I missed it, I don't believe you actually stated what the problem you are experiencing is. Please explain exactly what you are seeing and what you have already tried to address the issue. Include screen shots if you can and any additional information you think would be helpful.

OK the specific problem with visual format is that if you use the tables functionality then the gridlines are not displaying correctly because the table formatting is not being picked up and if you chose the bullet points functionality then the html for the bullet points is not being copied across. This only happens on the machines with Uniform on it, every other machine is fine.

Two questions....

What version of VF are you using?

Are the HTML tags wrong when you create a table in VF or are the tags just not displaying properly?

Its visual format which came with TeamSite 6.5 which I believe is version 3,1,0,11.

Also interesting has anyone had any dealings with tables? I work in local government so are required to meet AA accessibility. The default table functionality within visual format or ewebeditpro is 508 compliant but not the english equivalent.

Just for peoples reference on this, when installing Oracle tools on the same pc as visual format then the ActBar.ocx file is overwritten. Visual format actually uses an older version of this than Oracle does. So this needs to be correct version and it is performing correctly.
