xCP 2.1 Master Page Issue

Hi Experts,

I have to design Master page in XCP 2.1. When ever I am openning Master Page in xCP Designer and clicking Menu item1 to configure it I am getting below error and no information is coming in General tab for Menu item1.

An error has occurred. See error log for more details.

org.eclipse.core.runtime.CoreException: Plug-in "com.emc.xcp.uitemplate.ui" was unable to instantiate class "com.emc.xcp.uitemplate.ui.propertyeditor.markup.adapters.expressioneditor.ExpressionPropertyEditorWrapper".

For that I am not able to configure Master Page

I think i might be because of cache problem... have you tried after clearing the cache? if no then follow the steps... then try, hope it will work...

1.Close the xCP designer

2.delete C:\Users\<user_name>\.m2

3.delete C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\eclipse

4.delete C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla

5. Open xCP designer in administrator mode

I Have cleared the mentioned cache but still I am facing the same issue.

For your info I am facing this issue in xCP Designer itself.

Issue has be solved after clearing all the cache.

Right Click on xCPDesigner.exe and choose

Run as Administrator from the OS Context menu options

it's like how we use command prompt to run as Administrator
