D2 - Configure Menu Action

Hi,

I have a requirement to 'Find Parent' of a document by running a query to find all the folders and parent documents (virtual documents) which contain selected object.

I am not sure how to configure the Method for it.

So far i have little idea around what will go in Service (Classname), Method (java method in class), Selection (single), Type (JS).

But i am not sure what should be in 'Action' parameter

Also i would like to know if there is any default Action which i can used with necessary oam_id to perform this

Any thought will be welcome

Hi,

I need to run the query when a user clicks on Menu item

I need to display the widget with all the results from query

As of now this feature is available with Location Widget.

We have suggested users to use this feature till the time we get a way

1. to launch the Location Widget from menu option

2. to fire query from menu and display results in menu

Option 2 if we get a crack at it will be much better since it will give us flexibility to incorporate all kinds of features
