What is the limitation of drop down widget in xCP Designer 2.1?

I want to know what is the maximum number of items a drop down widget can populate in xCP Designer 2.1?

I am trying to populate more than 1000 items in a drop down using xCP deigner 2.1, but its fetching only 1000 items in it.

Plz suggest something about it.

The limitation is with the query not the widget itself. Both a RTQ and a DQL Read process activity are limited to 1000 results. You can check out the DQL Query xCelerators on ECN which allow you to overcome the limit.
