Documentum Composer 6.7 SP2 does not start

I had an installation of Documentum Composer 6.7 SP2 that had been working. I then had a computer meltdown and had to rebuild my computer. Now Composer will not start. I've reinstalled Composer and reinstalled the JDK, but when I attempt to run composer.exe, nothing happens. I tried running it from a command line hoping I'd see an error but nothing. It just returns to the prompt. When I run it through Windows Explorer, double-click, I get a wait icon for a couple of seconds and then nothing happens. Any suggestions?

System is Win 8 64-bit, Composer is 6.7 SP2 with JDK 1.6.0_37

In eclipse.ini add -vm parameter before any vm arguments and in the subsequent line add full path to , either javaw.exe or java.exe

Thanks Harry. I had resolved the problem before I saw this, but will store the info away for future. What I found was that my OS was not supported for version 6.7 SP2 (although I'm pretty sure it was running before I did the rebuild of my computer). I upgraded to 7.1 and it launched immediately.
