Workflow variable in DCT

Hi,

I am stuck with a problem and dont know whether it is possible or not???

I have a workflow which takes inputs about the Database schema name from the requestor and that value is being stored in a workflow variable. Now i need to access that workflow variable value and populate some drop down options in the DCT choosen for edit by the user based on that schema name.

If it's possible, please provide some information as how to get that done??
