We have plans to support SQL 2005 in the second half of the year on a defined set of MediaBin releases. Additional details on timelines and specific supported releases will be made available in early February.

While SQL Server 2005 may not be officially supported, can you think of any reason why it wouldn't work?

To hazard a guess, I suspect that there would not be much problem; however there's a lot that needs testing!

Afraid that in the rush to get MediaBin 4.5.3 out the door and tested on our existing platforms this particular configuration has yet to be certified. I will try to dig up a projected date for this to be done and will post when I have news.
