DM_SHUTDOWN Respository: Unable to File PID

Hi All,

I have multiple CS installation on RH Linux  for single repository on Documentum 7.2 environment. I am facing issues while shutting down the repositories. The shutdown script fails with an exception saying "Authentication Error for Installation owner"

The script also gives a message saying the Could not connect - Unable to connect to server to issue shutdown request.

I am not sure if this is related to projection issue or aek.key file issue.

any pointer would be highly appreciated.

Hi RB,

Login to the server as installation owner and try shutting down the server manually via iapi.

iapi> <docbase_name> -U<installation account/superuser> -P -e  << EOF

shutdown,c,T,T

exit

If it works fine then check whether the installation owner is getting passed properly in dm_shutdown_<docbase_name>.sh file.
