XmsAgent cannot be found

Hi all,

I'm working withe xCP2.1 dev edition and cant get the Deployment Environment to connect to the xMS Agent.

Everything is started on the image and I can access the xMS Agent in the browser (on same machine as xCP Designer) using http://<host>:7070/xms-agent

I can log in successfully etc

Using the same values in xCP designer I get the message

"The xMS Agent could not be found"

any ideas?

In the deployment environment you can get the following the error message

1.The xMS agent could not be found-->reason: hostname or ip address wrong

2.Connection failed--> reason: either port number, user name, password or all incorrect

So in your case, In Hostname use only ip address(you can use <hostname> also but don't add "http://" as prefix ) where the xms agent installed.
