D2 4.5 virtual document creation/import

Question

Hello,

is it possible in D2 4.5 to create a new virtual document (having a specific structure with VDs as child nodes) via the NEW menu option or by importing files via IMPORT menu option (ie import 2 .doc files and automatically create a VD and attach the files).

The only ways to handle VD i have discovered so far are through the context menu option to convert a file to VD and through folder structure element that allows to import a folder structure and subsequently convert it to a VD (to do this you have to have some files in each folder otherwise D2 does not convert the folders to VDs).

Hello

Will it be possible select once "New "->"Content" menu and create parent and then in "Linked" tab to add  sequentially all childs of the virtual document if configure as described above?

Hello.

I found a way how to create a virtual document from a template. It was a little bit difficult to find this, so I'll share this information:
1. Create an usual Document Template in D2-Config which will return an instance of Virtual Document

2. Create a VD template which will have a binding rule for any component of Template Virtual Document

3. Create a context for template document (from point 1), and check this context with Configuration of VD Template (from point 2).

After that, during creation, if you will choose a virtual document as template and VD Template in D2-Config will be configured correctly, the new created document will be virtual document with the structure similar to template.
